NPC Policies


The Nortel Photo Club (NPC) is a non-profit and non-commercial club open to all current and former employees of Nortel who share an interest in photography. It is open to all levels of photographers from absolute beginners to the most advanced, and to users of any type of photographic equipment, whether it be digital or film, SLR or point & shoot, pinhole or even Holga.


The goals of the NPC are as follows:

  • To facilitate meeting others who share an interest in photography
  • To promote sharing of photography knowledge
  • To provide a forum for discussion of photography
  • To provide a gallery for the display of its members photographic work
  • To push its members creatively through photographic challenges
  • To buy Dominic a Leica M3
  • To help its members have fun

Acceptable Use Policy

Posting of images and comments to the gallery is intended for NPC member use only. You must register in order to post to the gallery and obtain an individual member album. You may update the photos in this album as often as you like, but please limit it to 12 photos at a time, sized for web presentation.

Members may post photos in the theme sub-albums, and also post up to three photos per sub-album in the challenge sub-albums, provided the photos meet the theme or challenge.

Respect all photography-related laws. Respect the copyrights of others: do not post photos for which you do not hold the copyright nor have a defensible exception. Respect model release laws: do not post photos for which you do not have appropriate model releases. If in doubt, keep it out!

Copyright for all uploaded photos is retained by the original copyright holder.

Please keep the photos tasteful. If you or your coworkers would not hang it on a cubicle wall, do NOT post it in the NPC gallery.

Photos and or comments may be removed at any time, for any reason, by the gallery administrators.
